The owners manual only addresses the normal/far forward float detent.

The label on top of the joystick shows there is also a float detent to the far right. The joystick does click to the far right. Just as it clicks to the far front.

What is the float on the far right? How is it different than the "normal" far forward float?

If it clicks right and locks like the forward float, it's likely a regen or dump float, some loaders use that to rapidly drop the bucket, it is not the same as the standard float

Thank you for your reply. Have been able to use the tractor some since my original post. It seems you are on target. The front detent/float appears to be for the loader arms. Allowing them to float. The right detent/float does seem to be for the bucket only as you suggest. Meaning for example, the arms might still be in a raised position. But only the bucket dumps. And as you say, rapidly.

As additional information. My paper owner's manual with the tractor does not discuss the right detent/float position. Online later versions of the owner's do address a little about this function.

Thank you again for your reply.
