I've got a bit of a head scratcher on my mahindra, I Recently changed the oil filter, and now the alternator light is coming on. The engine's running fine, but the light stays on, which has me wondering if something got bumped or disconnected during the oil change, just nee to know, has anyone experienced this before? could it be an issue with the alternator or is there something I missed during the oil filter swap? appreciate your advices

hey, don't sweat it just yet, I've had weird stuff pop up after simple jobs too, maybe check if you accidentally nudged a wire or connector near the alternator while swapping that filter, because some mahindras have tight spaces, and it's easy to brush against something important

Agree with @hannibal.lecter lol that's a scary name I hope you're not preserving victims or whatever. Anyway, no biggy let the Mahindra adjust for a while. Been a few days since your post. Did the issue resolve?

Had a recent oil change with a bad leak. I think there's something about oil changes that's just bad luck. Kidding. I'm sure that issue is gonna resolve on its own. If not then that's the time you go check.
