Range selector lever feels loose

When I got the 4500 the lever was tight, but for the past several weeks I see it being loose. Is this because of something I did or just normal thing to happen? In any case, how do I fix it?

@Machinalliling yeah, not normal for it to just get loose. It usually indicates wear or a problem in the linkage.
First place to check is ofc the linkage itself. Look for loose bolts, worn bushings, or disconnected rods where the lever connects to the transmission or transfer case

If your 4500's lever is loosening already, that's less normal wear and more classic Mahindra quality control. These machines are built tough but not always tight. Get used to chasing down bolts and bushings more than you'd like...
