PTO won’t stay engaged

So I got a 2020 Mahindra 6075 4WD that I picked up about six months ago with around 180 hours on it. Lately, I've been having trouble with the PTO, it won't engage smoothly and sometimes kicks off under load. I checked the switch and wiring, and everything looks fine on the surface.

I'm wondering if it could be a sensor issue or something with the clutch adjustment? The manual isn't super clear on troubleshooting this kind of problem. Has anyone dealt with this before or know where I should start looking? Any tips would be a huge help. Thanks!

First, make sure to check the PTO clutch adjustment, as these can easily slip if they're not set up right. Also, take a look at the engagement sensor and linkage for any signs of wear or misalignment, since those are often responsible for a rough engagement.

Right, or possibly a faulty engagement sensor, especially since the switch and wiring check out. So yeah, a good starting point is to review the clutch free play and engagement settings, and inspect any sensors connected to the PTO for signs of wear or poor connection.
