Hydraulics issues Mahindra 4550

I've got a Mahindra 4550 with a front-end loader, and this past few months, I've seen the hydraulics get weaker and weaker. The loader isn't lifting as much as it used to, and the movement feels slower. The three-point hitch is also sluggish , and if I get a heavy implement on it, it slowly drifts down.
changing the hydraulic fluid and cleaning the screen (since there's no filter) seems like a good plan right now, but I have a feeling the pump might be going bad. A new one from the dealer costs too much about $600-$700. Does anyone know if these pumps can be rebuilt? And if so, is it difficult to remove and reinstall?

maybe not the pump just yet, because of the pressure the hydraulics go through everytime they work, those little things inside are the quick ones to retire, o-rings, seals, fluid filters etc. have a good look at them first.

Start with the fluid change and screen cleaning, it's the cheapest and easiest first step.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, then investigate the pump. Yes, they can often be rebuilt with seal kits, which are significantly cheaper than a new pump.
The difficulty of removal/reinstallation is moderate for a DIYer, but having a service manual is critical. Also, keep the other potential causes in mind as you troubleshoot

worst case scenario if the pump isn't rebuildable, there are several aftermarket options, so it's not a terrible situation, but it's one that you'll need to check everything to find the issue

Scary username... hahaha. I think the pumps are able to rebuilt? But I haven't done it yet. In case it can't, I'm pretty sure a specialist (if you're not too mech) can help you install an aftermarket.
