2006 Mahindra 2310 leaking issue

I noticed some kind of fluid leaking from the inside somewhere near the axle, i absolutely have zero idea what it is. will this cost that much juice?

i'd go for worn seals as it's the most common point of failure and you're seeing the diff oil. with that said, you might want to check the vent tubes in case they're clogged because they can push pressure back and force oil to come out of everywhere. the cost for this will depend how much you've driven it since you noticed the problem but i think it shouldn't be too expensive if there isn't' some massive damage to the diff

Agree with @PlowingThroughTheField but you can first check visually from the seals to the gaskets and any connection around the axle. For this one it's not going to cost much fixing if it's just the axle or differential gaskets, but other problems? Complicated. Expensive. And rare to find someone to solve your problem for you.

For me even if it will cost much, just spend on it. It'll be more expensive if you don't fix it and it'll cost you your life. There's no way of saving you but there is of that Mahindra.

Hey, just in case you haven't figured this one out.. leak could also be brake fluid or gear oil. I remember a buddy had brake fluid leaks, didn't pay attention until it was too late. The brake system repair almost cost him a fortune. A leak could be a sign there's something unusual with your tractor, so don't ignore it. Accurate diagnosis and prevention will still turn out cheaper and cost less damage down the road!

Agree with the replies above, it might be a leaking axle seal, which is quite a common issue with those tractors. It shouldn't cost too much to fix, but it's a good idea to take care of it before it turns into a bigger problem. I've seen this happen with a friend's as well.
